5th STEP entitled, "Cutting Edge Pharmaceutical Approaches to Meet Health Challenges of CDs and NCDs; with an emphasis on female scientists’ contributions"

The 5th STEP entitled, "Cutting Edge Pharmaceutical Approaches to Meet Health Challenges of CDs and NCDs; with an emphasis on female scientists’ contributions", is going to be held at University of Karachi from February 27th to March 2nd, 2019, in collaboration with International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS).

The main objective of this international conference is to promote and support capacities of the Islamic World for high-quality research on the basis of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) development for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases (CDs and NCDs). The 5th STEP will bring internationally recognized researchers, pharmaceutical scientists and technologists together, particularly from the Islamic countries, to consolidate their knowledge, understanding and achievements of the latest scientific advancements in combating CDs and NCDs for the enhancement of welfare of human beings, and further development of knowledge-based economy. In this international moot, eminent scientists as well as young researchers besides academic technology entrepreneurs from around the world will present their research findings, R&D outcomes, and innovations from medical and pharmaceutical sector. This will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and foster collaboration towards the emerging global challenges of CDs and NCDs.

Two eminent scientists (preferably women) who are interested in participating in the 5th STEP may send the application on prescribed proforma (attached) along with detailed resume to ECO Science Foundation (registry.ecosf@eco4science.org). The applications will be forwarded to the STEP and the STEP Scientific Division will further review the candidates’ scientific resume and they will be invited in case of approval.
